Zhenzhen Zhao works at Institut Télécom, Télécom SudParis as a HCI researcher and is currently pursuing a PhD on the topic of end-user driven service creation. Her current research interests include user perceptions of web mashups, front-end web page customization and social networks. She received her M.S. in Telecom Engineering from the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT), China.

2010.11-2011.02 Cooperated with Fraunhofer FOKUS Sevice Description for Service Delivery Platform Visiting Researcher

  •  Contributed in state-of-the-art for light-weight service description

2009.03-Present EU ITEA2 -DiYSE Do-it-yourself Smart Experience Researcher

  • Provided state-of-the-art of service creation methodologies and current developments on service mashups
  • Conducted an user research, built up an user acceptance model of consumer mashups
  • Prototyped a web mashup demo named “Event based service provider”, along with other demos of DIYSE won the best exhibition award for ITEA Event 2010
  • Generated the user scenario for French consortium

2008.09-Present EU Celtic – SERVERY Service Platform for Innovative Communication Environment Researcher

  • Involved in writing the proposal by providing service creation technologies
  • Collected user case and analyzed technical requirements for WP1
  • Participating WP5 service creation environment, aims to build up a flexible architecture allowing dynamic, intelligent and contextual service discovery / brokering / composition

2007.04-2008.04 Cooperated with Ericsson Context Aware based Community System Team Leader

  • Groped for Europe universally applied product/service innovation mode - Living Lab methodology
  • Collected and analyzed user requirement, designed and organized product usability test (paper prototype)
  • Invited to take charge of User Requirement Team. Successfully planned and organized kick-off meeting, two rounds of questionnaire surveys, as well as brainstorming workshop and expert interview

2006.01-2008.04 EU IST FP6 - E2R II End-to-end Reconfigurability Researcher

  • Read massive papers related to reconfiguration and cooperated with other colleagues to publish one book
  • Proposed a cognitive pilot channel assisted load balancing scheme. Wrote quarterly English technical report

2005.09-2006.09 NSFC Project Wireless Packet Scheduling and Network Calculus Team Leader

  • Determined the goals, scheduled the plan, assigned the task, drafted report and supervise the execution
