The North-South-South (NSS) Workshop on "Pilot Research Data Centre" will be held from Monday, 28 January, till Sunday, 3 February 2013, in The Reef Hotel, Nyali Beach, Mombasa (Kenya).STARLab will give a tutorial on ontologies.

Kenya is a country in East Africa that lies on the equator with the Indian Ocean to its south-east. Kenya has a land area of 580,000 km2 and a population of a little over 43 million residents.The country is named after Mount Kenya, a significant landmark and second among Africa's highest mountain peaks. Its capital and largest city is Nairobi.

Background of NSS

It is a currently running ICT project financed by the VLIR IUC program. It started on 1 April 2011 and will end on 31 March 2013.
